Democratic Alliance (DA)  leader Geordin Hill-Lewis has appealed to South Africans to vote for the party to help end what he describes as the chaos associated with African National Congress (ANC) governance.

Addressing supporters in Mamelodi, Tshwane, this Saturday at the DA final rally, Hill-Lewis urged voters to unite behind the party and ensure every vote counted on election day on Wednesday.

He said the election presented an opportunity to turn the ANC’s decline into South Africa’s recovery.

The ANC’s decline must become South Africa’s recovery!

The opportunity for change is within reach. Now it’s up to every South African who wants a better future to show up and vote.

4 November. Vote DA!

Hill-Lewis said a vote for the DA in Wednesday’s local government elections was also the first step towards a DA-led national government in 2029.

“Tshwane, when I say to you, stop the chaos, you say, ‘Start delivery.'” Tshwane, stop the chaos. I can’t hear you. Tshwane, stop the chaos. On Wednesday, let the ANC’s decline become South Africa’s recovery. The first step towards a DA-led national government in 2029. “
