The home of an ActionSA councillor candidate in the Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality near Zeerust in the North West has been destroyed in a fire.
The party says the cause of the blaze has not yet been established.
The party is calling on police to conduct a thorough investigation.
ActionSA deputy president, Mbahare Kekana, is expected to visit the area on Monday.
