Palestinian journalists staged a solidarity protest outside the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip on Monday, calling for a colleague in intensive care to be allowed to travel abroad for treatment, Anadolu reports.

Participants said journalist Ammar Qudaih has been treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit since his heart stopped several days ago.

The protest, organized by the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, also called for sick and injured journalists in Gaza to be allowed to leave for treatment abroad.
