My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade vaults from No. 139 to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated Nov. 7, 2026 – its 162nd week on the chart. The original edition of the emo classic nearly topped the chart when it was first released in 2006. It debuted at No. 2, just behind the Hannah Montana TV soundtrack, which was also a new arrival that week.

The album was boosted by the release of The Black Parade (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition), which includes six bonus tracks in addition to the 14 that comprise the LP’s standard edition — three B-sides from the Black Parade era, as well as three live tracks.

We thought it would be fun to take a look back at what was in the top 10 when The Black Parade first appeared there – in the week of Nov. 11, 2006. The top 10 that week included artists ranging from Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus, who was just 13 (she would turn 14 later in the month), to Tony Bennett, who was then 80.
