The minister concluded with expressing hope that the project would "prove to be a game-changer." The proposed revival of the PTV Drama and Film Academy came at a time when the film, television and digital content industries increasingly rely on advanced production techniques including colour grading, post-production and modern studio technologies. By bringing specialised training facilities to Pakistan and involving private-sector partners and universities, the initiative aims to help bridge the skills gap and prepare a new generation of professionals for opportunities in the evolving media landscape.
