“VOTE OR DIE ! LET’S GO AMERICA,” she wrote on X on Tuesday (Nov. 3) with a series of blue heart emojis.

A fan clapped back at her viral call to action: “You literally just refuse to listen to those of us with sense. did you have to have the blue hearts…alienating your red audience? girl, are you neurodivergent? it gets to a point.”

Tinashe wasn’t having any backlash from the Republican side, and suggested that those taking issue with her political stance drop their fandom.

“Y’all can go,” the artist abruptly replied.

Another disgruntled fan responded to Tinashe: “You do realize there is no telling how much money your Republican fans have given you right? The “2 On” singer didn’t budge, offering up another succinct four-word reply: “I do not care.”

Democrats ended up flipping multiple seats blue, taking the Senate with 54 seats, and the House with 237 at press time to control Congress beginning in January.

Tinashe has been one to use her platform to speak up throughout her career. She’s been critical of Donald Trump, marched in a Black Lives Matter protest and continues to be a strong ally to the LGBTQ+ community.

The 33-year-old shined with her album POPSTAR, which arrived in September and notched Tinashe her first top 10 album on the Billboard 200 (No. 6 peak). She’ll continue her One Night With a Popstar run of shows with a concert at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, Calif., on Saturday (Nov. 7).
