Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-10-15
This policy explains how Infxon Nexus ("the Site") handles information related to you when you browse the Site. The Site aggregates and indexes publicly available news content and applies a data-minimisation principle by default.
1. What we process
(a) Information you provide: the email address or phone number and password hash used to register, your comments, and your favourites and follows.
(b) Information generated by your use: anonymous behavioural events such as page views, article reads, on-site search terms, clicks and dwell time.
(c) Device and access information: coarse-grained data such as browser type and language and screen size, used for layout adaptation and troubleshooting.
The Site does **not** collect your full IP address, does not set third-party advertising cookies, and does not perform cross-site tracking.
2. Why we process it
To provide and maintain the service: sign-in, comments, favourites and reading history.
To improve content and experience: identifying popular articles, refining channels and ranking, and evaluating recommendation quality.
For safety and compliance: preventing abuse, spam and anomalous access, and meeting legal requirements.
3. Storage and retention
Account data is stored in the Site database, and passwords are kept only as irreversible hashes.
Anonymous behavioural events are used for aggregate statistics; the aggregated results contain no personally identifying identifiers.
After you delete your account or submit a deletion request, we will delete or anonymise the relevant data within a reasonable period.
4. Your rights
You may access, correct and export your account data, and you may delete your account from the user centre.
You may change your consent for optional data processing at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the page footer; choosing "Essential only" stops non-essential statistics and recommendation computation.
If you object to our data processing, you may contact us using the details below.
5. Third parties and external links
Site content comes from public news sources (RSS / open APIs). Original-article links take you to third-party websites whose data practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
The Site does not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Contact us
If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us through the channel listed on the About page.
We will post a prominent notice on the Site if this policy changes materially.
